Teresa specializes in treating patients holistically, and works with each person to treat the root of the condition. As an Acupuncture and Eastern Medicine Practitioner (AEMP), Teresa incorporates the ancient healing medicine of acupuncture with many other services, to ensure the most beneficial course of treatment for each individual patient.

 

Teresa has 20 years of practical experience as an acupuncturist and Oriental Medicine practitioner. She is a graduate of Bastyr University, with a Master’s of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. Prior to her acupuncture training, Teresa received a Bachelor degree from Western Washington University in the field of Anthropology/Biology.

 

In 2000, Teresa began extensive training at Bastyr University, where she completed over 3000 hours of class and clinical training. She traveled to Thailand in 2009, where she finished training to become a certified Thai Massage Therapist. She is currently certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM) and is licensed by the State of Washington (AC2436).

 

She treats men, women and children with a wide variety of illnesses and conditions including headaches, insomnia, infertility, anxiety/depression and acute/chronic pain. Teresa has worked side by side with other practitioners including Naturopathic Physicians, Chiropractors, Medical Doctors, Gastrointestinal Specialists, Dietitians, Counselors and Massage Therapists. Teresa understands the importance of the integration of medicine, and works with each patient to ensure the most appropriate and beneficial course of treatment.
